HISTORY

Establishment: Tabernacle of Faith and Deliverance Ministries was officially founded on December 31, 2013, by Bishop Carl D. Reynolds, with the first service held on New Year’s Eve at 60 Connolly Parkway, Building 3, Hamden, CT.

Mission: The church was formed as a non-denominational ministry, dedicated to empowering individuals and families by fostering spiritual growth, personal development, and community support under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

His journey included prior roles at Deliverance Temple Pentecostal Church (where he worked with the Men’s and Women’s Outreach Ministry), Upon This Rock Ministries (starting the Men’s Support Group), and Church of Hope Revival Center (serving as Elder and Assistant Pastor).

VISION

The vision of Tabernacle of Faith and Deliverance Ministries is to empower individuals and families to realize their God-given potential through faith, spiritual growth, and personal development. The ministry is devoted to transforming the greater Hamden and New Haven communities by offering an inclusive, non-denominational environment where all are welcomed with love, acceptance, and unity.

Rooted in biblical teachings and compassionate leadership, the church aims to serve the homeless, underprivileged, and anyone facing challenges in life. By focusing on community outreach, leadership in service, and specialized programs such as the “Woman of Virtue Life Support Group,” the ministry strives to equip and inspire people—especially women—for active service both within the church and throughout the wider community. Their vision is to build a thriving, spiritually vibrant, and compassionate congregation that leaves a lasting, positive impact on every life they touch.
